Completing the series inspired by the Maya word for “grid” or “woven”, the Kata Plinth highlights the core values of Ex Forti—a brand rooted in the bold forms and monumental presence of Brutalism. Handcrafted with meticulous precision in silk-lacquered wood, its slender, column-like silhouette rises as a powerful totem for artwork or decorative pieces. The clean, vertical geometry is subtly interrupted by textured, burnished brass bands recessed asymmetrically along its structure, seamlessly echoing the collection’s refined metallic detailing.
