BRUTO BOX

BRUTO BOX is an accent piece that synthesizes the encounter between soft leather and the severe construction of the Belgian Brutalist Architectures.

The solid and tectonic volumes of Brutalist buildings, as the one by Marcel Lambrichs in Belgium, whose materials were left bare in their expressiveness, are now redesigned to furnish living environments with strong personality

The main feature is the Nubuck leather, which wraps the entire wooden frame: the leather well suits to highlight the repeated geometries on each side of the Box, with a soft chromatic palette that distances itself from the rigidity of the original structure.

On the inside, a bright lacquered orange colour generates a contrast of immense expressive strength.

The Knob Jewel completes the composition as a single piece of décor: it’s fashioned from Brass and its pure volumes and essential lines cite the timeless simplicity of the architectural structure by Louis Kahn for the Yale University Art Gallery.
